Skip to main contentTo get the most out of Conatus, tracking the right set of relevant prompts is important.
Start with identifying target personas
Identify a specific segment of prospects you want to optimize visibility for. Think from the user’s perspective: “What questions are these prospects most likely to ask while making purchasing decisions in my product category?”
You want to be as specific as possible when describing personas, as AI platforms are designed to customize responses based on the context and intent of the user. Consider specifying:
- The goal of the prospect
- The constraints of the prospect (e.g., budget)
- The relationship with your product (e.g., decision maker, influencer)
Draw inspiration from internal resources
Here are good sources to draw inspiration from:
- Support requests and questions received from your customers
- Frequent questions and topics discussed on Reddit
- Competitor keyword monitoring
- Brainstorm with your GTM and product teams to prioritize visibility for topics related to specific releases your internal teams are planning to push out
Change one thing at a time
Instead of making content investments for every opportunity you discover with Conatus, start with a small set of targeted investments and observe their impact. Not all sources will have equal impact. Experiment with different changes bit by bit, see what works and really moves the needle, then double down on the sources that impact AI visibility and perception the most.
